Volt is immediately hiring for an Electronic Engineer Tech On site in White Sands, NM.


As an Electronic Engineer Tech you will:


Perform HAWK Missile system maintenance. Resolved technical problems and issues in accordance with product specifications and engineering data to recommend repair/sustainment of part replacement as determined by Technical Manuals and Troubleshooting.


Required Skill Sets:


  • Analyze equipment failures to determine the cause and recommend corrective action. Monitor, analyze and characterize the performance of sensor system specific test equipment. Implement preventive maintenance programs and document/manage performance and maintenance records.
  • RF hardware engineering/maintenance experience. Ability to read Schematics and diagnose complex electronical Missile System problems.
  • Ability to work in a military environment and extreme weather conditions.
  • Ability to perform complex troubleshooting and analysis to correct/mitigate system discrepancies, errors and demonstrate Operational Readiness.
  • Experience with Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers and Digital Multi-meters.
  • Understands how to repair and troubleshoot Transistor to Transistor logic (TTL).
  • Understand how to troubleshoot and tubes that predates TTL.

  • Work independently to develop timely and effective solutions to technical problems of various scope and complexity.

    5 years.
  • Education Level Required:
    HS

This is a Full Time Contract opportunity.


The ideal candidate will have:


  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Repair Missile system.
  • Troubleshoot component level, larger chip, Testing will be out in field.
  • Analyze equipment failure, Circuit card repair, solder, RF equipment experience.
  • Diagnostic electronic equipment
  • Experience with Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers and Digital Multi-meters.

Pay Rate:
$35-$40/hour


Travel requirement:
one day needs to work in missiles range and other day need to work in EL Paso, TX.


Mileage reimbursement and expenses will be covered.


Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
